Baby weight
My son two month 15 days old. He has been gaining weight since 15 days after birth like he has gain around 2000 gms till completion of two month. We are checking his weight on approximate basis on regular weighing scale. But got confirmed  when checked in hospital. But since then i feel past 15 days he has gain only 150 gms weight Also he when picked up he weigh bit light. Does he loosing weight if yes why? Is there any another way so I can check his weight more correctly on normal weighing scale.

Soon after birth, there is about 10% weight loss in most babies. Then the birth weight is regained by 10-14 days. In a term baby, the initial weight gain may be 10-40 g/day. The weight gain during infancy is as follows: Weight gain in the first 3 months = 200 g/week (after regaining birth weight) Weight gain in the next 3 months = 150 g/week Weight gain in the next 6 months = 100 g/week
Next Steps
you need not check weight so frequently..  once or twice a month is enough..
Health Tips
If Baby is accepting feeds well, passing stools normally and is active u need not worry too much about weight..  if still you have questions have a consultation..
