Baby Travelling while having cold
Hi we are in mumbai currently and my baby has cold... it started from yesterday night... but filal cold jyada hi hai... next friday we have to go Bangalore which will be cold place comparatively... Can we travel with her ? As of now we have started giving maxtra 0.5ml thrice a. Day

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and  if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion  it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In  viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

Try to cover her up with shoes and socks, but check she is not getting drenched at times. For cold you can use anticongestant like maxtra in proper dosage and if there is nasal block, give Saline nasal drop 1drop in each nostril 6hourly intervals, also if baby gets irritated, you can add Calpol drops. Ensure she is having her food and staying hydrated.

Yes continue maxtra drops and put Nasoclear drops 2 drops three times a day for 3 days
