Hi.. i am a pediatric dentist.. you should not worry as it is normal during eruption of teeth. Do share pic of your baby where tooth is emerging. If baby is having fever give painkillers and antipyretic. But do consult for dosage. To give relief to baby give him/ her cold hard things to bite upon. Make sure they are clean. This will decrease the inflammation and pressure helps to relieve pain.
Next Steps
do consult before giving any medication.
Health Tips
watch the baby as at this time due to irritation baby tends to put anything in mouth, which may lead to infection.

good evening sir,
Deciduous teeth begin to erupt when the baby is around six to nine months old.
the full set of 20 deciduous teeth has usually erupted into the mouth by three years of age.
deciduous tooth eruption has been associated with some symptoms that includes;
1. swelling in gum 2. increases in salivation 3. lack of night sleep (pain increaese in night) 4. fever
among these fever is most common and frequently reported.
you can give some pain relieve medication like ibuprofen(as dose prescribe by your paediatrician.)
