Baby reject Feronia XT drop
My pediatrician suggest me to give ferronia xt drop 1.5ml daily to my son who is 6months plus. He didnt like the taste and dont want to swallow it. One day it comes out from nose as he didnt swallow it and it goes into nasal passage. I want to know any alternative Fe medicine can be given bcoz taste of this medicine not liked by my son. And can it be given in small amount in 3/4 time to make 1.5ml.

All.iron syrup are difficult to give...You can mix in orange juice though it may reduce it's absorption a bit.. Try 0.5 ml twice a day first ..In any case it doesn't help then meet your doc an ask him to change brand like tonoferon or hepatoglobin (which is better in taste)
