My 2 months baby is not sleeping from 2 days. He slept only for 6 hrs in 24 hours. His eyes look very sleepy and feeling uneasy. He is on formula feed and drinking sufficient milk. He is active and playing well.

Babies on formula feed have this problem of indigestion as the feed thickness temperature and taste constantly changes based on the amount of powder mixed. Whereas breast feeding doesn’t have these shortcomings. Hence always give breast feeding. During 2nd month baby develop gas and abdomen distension.

Next Steps

Use anti colic drops not gripe water which contains only alcohol. Burp the child every time fed.

Health Tips

During this time they revert to adult sleeping pattern of more night time sleeping and daytime active.
