Normal we just parents of Newborn that passing stool 7 times daily or not passing till 7 days is Normal unless baby has any vomiting or abdominal fullness. Just continue breastfeeding and burping after each feed.

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool. also straining while passing urine and stool is normal. Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
