Baby not eating
2.2 year baby weight 11kg , not taking food since 25 days , only drinking milk with force only one time in 24 hour , visited to doc no issues healthy ,tried given food in many varieties bt failed and stressed now.. please tell me can I give cyproheptadine hydrochloride ip(maha app) syrup to baby 2.2 year ,tell me dose also . please help

Cyproheptadine is not recommended in children due to side effects like drowsiness. Weight is in the normal range for age. Do not force feed the child as that will cause behaviour problems. As check up is normal, nothing to worry about. These phases of eating less are quite common at this age. Growth is slow after 2 years so the requirement is less. If parents were thin during their childhood, the child is also likely to be thin.

Milk will not give adequate nutrients .continue trying different nutritious food.you can give cyproheptadine 4ml morning once .
