Baby is suffering from jaundice

Asked for Female, 21 Years

I am blessed with a baby girl on Sep 8th, 2017 and from then she is suffering from jaundice. Doctors kept on giving surface light treatment and is in control, but bill Rubin is getting increased to 18 after she discharged from hospital. Later doctor told us this is because of mother milk is not suitable for baby, but still he told us to continue feeding. Can we stop giving mother milk to baby. Please advise.
