Baby' height
My 10 month daughter's height is stopped increasing after 6 months. She was 72 cm at 6 month and now she is 72 cms. Why her height is not increasing? Although, her weight is increasing fine. She is 10.2 kg now.
What should I do?

Happy to see your involvement in growth and development of your child. To measure length of a child at this age group you need help of three people. Always measure length and not height at this age. You will see length of your child will be around 76-79 cm.

Expected Length of the child by 1 yr is 75 cm. So if child is gaining weight and active , need not worry. Follow up with pediatrician offline after lockdown

I also understand your concern regarding your baby’s growth . As of now the weight and height seems normal but if you really want to know whether your child is growing as per age normally or not then last few growth reading need to check and to be plotted on IAP growth chart . You must not me measuring it properly u need to see videos for how to measure height of an infant at 9 months height is ok for age
