My newborn baby's ( 21 days) temperature reading at armpit is showing 99°F, but her forehead is felt normal. Slight heat is observed at palms and feet. Should it be considered fever? What is normal temperature range at armpit for newborns?

It is considered fever if temp in the armpit comes above 100F.
Due to high metabolism, some child may be warm at head and some at palm and soles and few may be at head, palm and soles. That may happen without a fever too.
Encourage more feeds to the child. Child should pass urine 6 to 8 times in a day. If temp reaches above 100F, then do take help.
