If not a critical illness or absolute contraindication to plz don't withhold breastfeeding..

But if it's an absolute contraindication,documented by a pediatrician then there is no other choice than to feed the baby with formula feeds,rather allowing the baby to get dehydrated without any milk.

Hello Mum,
The medical condition is of baby or the mother...
In either case if the baby is born through Normal delivery or C-section mother's milk needs to be expressed out if not fed to the baby directly.
Breastfeeding is best.Formula has its own pros and cons.Should be discussed with Pediatrician before starting.

But formula is not as good as breast milk. It is very costly also. Rs. 1500 per kg.
So take decision carefully
