Brush your childs teeth with baby tooth brush and  a grain size tooth paste. You can brush all the surfaces of the teeth gently and wipe it out with a soft muslin cloth or encourage the child to spit it out. Some of the tooth paste may get swallowed ,but that is ok initially, until your child learns to spit it out properly.
