B12 levels high
Today my mother as usual done lipid profile and levels are total cholesterol is 218 and triglycerides are 160 but B12 levels are showing >1515 so what is meant by this

Her cholesterol is higher than normal. She should start exercising like brisk walking, avoid fatty foods. Her vitamin B12 levels are more, which means she is taking multivitamins or Vitamin B Complex. Either way, as it is water soluble...extra gets excreted through urine. Which means nothing to worry about.

Lifestyle modifications as cholesterol as well TG are borderline. Repeat lipid profile after 3 months High level of b12 is suggestive of recent intake of multivitamins, b complex tablets. Reduction of doses is advisable
