AVN in both hips
My mother(age 62) has been diagnosed with bilateral AVN, level 3 in the right hip and level 2 in the left, likely due to steroid injections she received during her ICU stay for COVID-19 (15 days).
We discovered this condition about two months ago and looking for non-surgical treatment options.
I am seeing some positive reviews about Focused Shockwave Therapy being effective, but I couldn’t find any centers offering this treatment in Chennai. Kindly suggest.

Actually this condition can’t be reversed.. it’s ideal to go for total hip replacement.. you can give a try with core decompression.. but results won’t be as you expect.. final decision can be made after seeing an Xray
