Av fistula not working twice
My father got Av fistula done twice - once in each of the arms. First one did not mature and second one worked for 6-7 dialysis. My question is what are the options - can existing fistula be corrected, is it possible to get fistula done again in the same arm or is there something else that can be done?

Do doppler of AV fistula. If there is Obstruction or stenosis we can dilate it or put a stent there. If there is a complete blockage by thrombus then the options r minimum If a v fistula is done at wrist and arm vessels are good. We can try doing AV fistula in same arm but at the arm level. If A V fistula is not working. We can try permanent catheter placement in One of neck veins.
