AV Fistula
What are the aftercares for AV FISTULA. It's been 5 days since the surgery, we have removed the initial bandage after 2 days and washed it with soap and water.
Is to be washed regularly now with water? And should we keep it covered still after applying ointment?
Dr has advised to come see him after 5 weeks now? Will they remove the stitches then start the dialysis from fistula?

Keep the suture line clean and dry for 10 to 14 days ..
Then visit your urologist..
He will remove suture and guide you for further course of action
