Atarax 25mg safe during pregnancy
I am 24 weeks pregnant and have lot of itching. General Physician has prescribed me Atarax 25mg - 2 tabs in a day for 5 days. It gives me lot of sedation. Is this tablet safe for me and baby ?

Get serum bile acids and liver function test done. Itching in pregnancy can be due to deranged lft or raised bile acids for which atarax won't work
