I am a lifeguard and have been having asthma attacks on high allergen and heat days, even after inhaler use. I use it almost religiously 30 minutes before work and halfway through my 6 hour shift. I have had 2 mild attacks and 1 severe. During the severe, emergency O2 was administered.

Dear patient, you are a case of difficult to control asthma. You might need anti IgE antibody treatment as per GINA step 5 treatment. Consult a pulmonologist and get a PFT and Allergy test (RAST) done. You are an ideal candidate for Anti IgE therapy. You may consult me as well before initiating treatment.
