Vitamin c is just supportive treatment because it helps in boosting immunity.
But if you are catching cold frequently, it can be several other conditions like allergic,sinusitis,any underlying infection and a lot more

Vitamin C can be helpful only for a small period if you are already having cold. But it cannot protect you against it. And you need to understand why are you catching cold repeatedly.
