ASD related to heart
When I did ECHO,find the issue related to ASD, the hole size is 30mm.can you please suggest me which kind of treatment available?? Thanks!

Its ATRIAL SEPTAL DEFECT
It has to get closed
There are two options
Either surgical open heart surgery or device
Device is done by catheter technique
Through groin v pass catheter into heart and deploy a device into ASD
BUT there are pre requisites fro device
There are 5 rims of ASD which has to present to hold the device
If they are deficient or absent u have to undergo it surgically
To assess the rims, u have to get echo done from good pediatric cardiologist
He first see trans thorasic, if hea not able to see then he may advise trans esophageal echo
Next Steps
Consult a good pediatric cardiologist nearby u and get it closed
