Hi,
I have been on anti-epileptics: Leviteracetam (Levipil 2000mg) and Eslicarbazepine (400mg in 2017, 600mg in 2018, 800mg in 2019 and back to 400 mg in 2020 until a few weeks ago when my doctor increased it to 600mg and the to 800mg before tapering down leviteracetam).
Just a few days ago, as directed by my doctor I have lowered the dose of Levipil to 1750mg from the 2000mg earlier. Now I am having symptoms that I believe are due to the withdrawal. For example, I live on the 6th floor of my building, and I feel like jumping off my balcony due to a troubling thought of seeking a thrill or something . I sometimes feel extreme anxiety and sometimes depression. Sometimes I have mild panic attacks and such. Also, sometimes there is extreme weakness in my body. But it goes away just as suddenly. I am a bit worried about such weird side effects. Are they normal? If yes, how long will they persist?

I think you should switch over to a different anti convulsant, as a replacement for Levipil, as it is known to cause behavioural disturbances. Consult your neurologist for change in the medicine. You should feel better.
