In absence of diabetes, apple cider vinegar has been shown to reduce blood sugar levels within few hours of its consumption and also helps to reduce appetite and weight. The evidence supporting this is not very strong, however it does not appear to cause any harm and can be worth trying. Best way to consume it is at bedtime to reduce fasting sugars or before eating to reduce post meal sugars. It should be taken in moderation and diluted with water.
