Your liver enzymes are significantly elevated — SGPT at 176 is about 4 times the normal level, and SGOT at 83 is also raised. In your case, obesity and alcohol use are likely contributing to fatty liver disease, and the encouraging news is that this can be reversible with sustained weight loss, a healthy diet, and stopping alcohol completely. However, you absolutely need to see a doctor right now — at these levels you need additional tests like a liver ultrasound and hepatitis B and C screening to understand the full picture and rule out other causes.
Next Steps
Yes, please see a doctor now — do not wait. Further blood tests and a liver ultrasound are needed urgently. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

According to the history you gave, you are morbidly obese and the liver enzymes derangement could be secondary to fatty liver. Ultrasound will only show if you have fatty liver but not the grade and is it reversible state or jot. You need fibroscan for that. And currently there are wonderful new drugs emerging for metabolic care and fatty liver with almost complete reversal. If you neglect it now its inevitable for you to get any metabolic complications including diabetes, hypertension, stroke etc.. You can consule me for further evaluation and management - MD Medicine

Yes, it is often reversible, especially if due to fatty liver, obesity, and alcohol. Your SGPT 176 and SGOT 83 are high, so please see a physician/gastroenterologist and get evaluation. Advice: Stop alcohol completely. Weight loss target: 7–10% gradually. Regular exercise/gym + brisk walking. Avoid fried food, sugar, cold drinks, junk food. Check LFT repeat, lipid profile, sugar/HbA1c, hepatitis B/C tests, and ultrasound abdomen. Urgent visit if jaundice, vomiting, severe pain, fever, or extreme weakness.
