Your masturbation in the past has got nothing to do with the problems you are facing right now. But, your perception about masturbation as something bad, is.
Masturbation, if done when one is sexually excited is healthy.

Hey, try to divert your mind ,involve in outdoor activities , games , reading books ,watching TV . Avoid watching adult videos, involve completely in some work . do yoga and meditation
