Hello Doctor
I'm shamili, 34 yrs old...
I've been suffering from anxiety for the past 8 months ( after abortion at 4 months pregnant)... Last week I got a moderate breathing issue with an anxiety attack( my oxygen saturation levels are dropping till 89)...so the doctor prescribed me a restyl 0.5 mg tablet for 5 days ...
Today is five days completed, but I'm still getting
anxiety attacks if I stopped taking a restyl 0.5 tablet ..
What should I do next ...
I'm confused should I continue medicine or else... Should I consult a neurologist or physciatrist for further medication...
Note :- before I used to take nexito plus - sos
I'm I deficient in iron or b12 vitamins ? For this reason my saturation levels are going done ? My haemoglobin is 12.4
Kindly please suggest me ...for further assistance
Thank you
Shamili

Hi dear
If ur oxygen saturation is going down that means it's not just anxiety and it's something related to ur lungs. So u need to get a check up done for that from a physician.
Restyl is not a permanent solution for anxiety because u have a history of trauma so u need proper counseling from a psychiatrist to overcome it which will then help relieve the anxiety.
Continuing restyl fir long term is not healthy.
Please consult for further queries
Take care
During acute anxiety attacks there is less chances of spo2 dropping to 89% . Usually bp and o2 saturation will be normal. So I think you need a general examination first and then we can decide whom to consult next
Please consult.your hemoglobin is ok so it diesnt explain your saturation due to any deficiency.i suggest you visit a physicoan in person to test your saturation.
