Anxiety and depression
Very often get nervous without any valid reason and than palpitations for a few seconds. Sudden moodswings and negative thoughts comes in mind. And at times i can feel a sudden jerk while standing. In the night time it gets worse very uncomfortable to sleep.

Talk to a psychiatrist . Evaluation is required. Jerks can happen due to physical or psychological reasons.
