Antibodies TPO Test
My mother is 50 yr old and recently has done Antibodies TPO TEST and it's result is greater than 1300..is there anything to worry..plz help

It just means her hypothyroidism is due to a condition called as autoimmune thyroiditis. It will not affect the management of hypothyroidism and neither will it cause any additional harm. She will require to take thyroid medication lifelong.
