Antibiotic during breastfeeding
A Doc at Practo (thru online consultation) advised my wife to take Augmentine for an infection due to a boil at stomach. We expected doc to be extremely careful in this. After taking this antibiotic, my 2.5 month old baby got lot of rashes within a day. My wife had to stop takin this just after 2 days after reading about its side effects during breastfeeding, and next day baby's rashed started slowly diminishing. Not a healthy experience. Any advise for best suitable antibiotic for such cases to dry the wound and prevent infection without hurting the baby?

Hello the picture doesn't look like a simple boil. I would suggest you to go see a surgeon before it get worse. I just hope it will be simple thing. But it's better to show a surgeon before it's too late and sitting at home you might miss out something.
