My wife was consuming Dolonex DT(Piroxicam)
From a long time for her axial SpA pain management. Stopped it during her pregnancy.
Now radiating pain started again in SI joint.
CAN SHE CONSUME Dolonex DT (PIROXICAM) DURING HER LACTATION/ BREAST FEEDING?

Pain killers are secreted in the milk and may be harmful for the baby. She should try to wean the baby off breast milk as soon as possible and seek treatment for Ankylosing Spondylitis. For now, she can apply heat to the area, apply Volini gel and start back stretching exercises if permitted by the gynecologist.

Only oral paracetamol and skin application medications are permitted as safe by FDA in pregnancy and breast feeding
Next Steps
If breast feeding is done for 6 months then stop breast feeding and get a Orthopedic Surgeon visit
