Ankolysing spondlytis.
My ankolysing slondlytis was mild and was almost under control by exercise and mild dose of saazo.But 15 days before it became somewhat sever and stiffness and pain occurred in side joints of hip. Now doctor has advised to take lefno 20 mg 5 tablets at atime(means 100) mg for three days then 20mg for 7 days with some other medicines.Please tell wheather lefno dose of 100 mg is safe? What is its maximum dose as muscle relaxant?

Loading dose of leflunomide is 100 mg and it is to be taken for 3 days. As far as muscle relaxants are concerned there s nothing like maximum dose. It varies with different meds. Have u undergone any blood tests recently and X-rays of your hip joints ? Please visit hospital for further consultation with your test reports
