Ankle swelling after a bad fracture like yours will take atleast 12 to 15 months to settle down with some niggling pain now and then. You have had a good course of treatment from your doctor and the good thing is your implants are removed only after healing of fractures . Why are you worried with swelling .you will do fine

You are lucky that your  fractures have united. Keep a pillow under the foot and ankle. Do ankle ,  fòot & toe exercises. In due  course of time, sweĺlings will settle down.
