Ankle Sprain
I got an ankle sprain. X ray shown no fracture. Doctor diagnosed it as midtorsal sprain in ligament. He applied a cast as shown in figure. Is this sufficient or should I get a plaster done? Also for how long cast/plaster be applied for sprain ? (Foot with socks was the one with sprain)

I would prefer a complete below knee plaster cast.
