Left foot swelling pain for 8 weeks. Not known trauma. Blood reports normal.MR SCANNING LEFT ankle bone and joint.
Accessory os navicular type II. There is extensive inflammatory changes with bone marrow edema both affecting bone structures and edema of the adjacent soft tissues. It is compatible with accessory os navicularesyndrom.
Ligaments: Chronic damage in the anterior talofibular ligament. The other ligaments in the ankle joint is inconspicuous.No effect on the tibialis posteriorsenen.
