Angioedema and Hives
I have had 5 episodes of swelling of lips in last 55 days reoccurring within 10-15 days, My skin has become highly sensitive with hives and rashes coming due to pressure. There is no specific cause or food that leads to swelling of lips, I have been taking anti histamine (after consultation)for a month but not much improvement has been observed, how long would it take to get better.

I advise you to consult a dermatologist online or in person, share clear pictures, and get a personalized treatment plan. Only after proper evaluation can the right medicines (creams/tablets) be prescribed.”

Hello 👋 Detailed history and examination is needed for further evaluation and management Swelling of the lips and hives can occur due to various causes We should rule out those causes and find the culprit first Various treatment modalities are available depending on site and severity of the condition Antihistamines alone won't solve the problem additional medications are needed to control the symptoms

Complete history will be required and history of similar complaints in family. Drug history will also be needed. And few tests to narrow the cause of this, after which treatment can be started.
Next Steps
Consult a dermatologist and get the required blood tests
