Hi 28f having 2 years old baby boy .Me and my husband have difficult marriage we always fight he hits me daily I will shout at him morning night my kid is fearing a lot .I always take my kid out so that he forgets all these but still I am worried bcz it must be affecting him how should I tolerate myself and not fight in front of him.Will the baby forget all these?fights and physical violence?I also have been in a difficult childhood my parents used to always fight that affected me alot but they also used to fight rarely but me and my husband on daily basis ...Will my baby forget as he is only 2 years old but he fears a lot and a lot even if a plate falls or even if me and my husband sit together when we are not fighting also

No the child will not forget.latest research shows that if children witness toxic relationships in early childhood it affects them throughout life. Good news is that you can take action and can reverse the damage to a large extent.

Hello, It will surely impact your child if it continues. Better to understand it at the earliest and start working on it. Visit a clinical psychologist for counselling ( both of you).
