Anal fissures
Hello I am Suffering from fissure since 2 months . I want to get rid of this problem. Currently I'm using Smuth ointment but after bowel my anal area feels heavy and swells though i dont have excruciating pain now but the swelling is not going

Hello there....., I can understand your concern.... anal fissure usually heals on its own within four to six weeks. If it doesn't, medical treatment or surgery usually can relieve discomfort..... Exercise promotes regular bowel movements and increases blood flow to all parts of your body, which may promote healing of an anal fissure. Avoid straining during bowel movements. Straining creates pressure, which can open a healing tear or cause a new tear....
