Anal fissure
Thankyou for your valuable time. As I've been suffering from chronic anal fissure, I would like to get them treated surgically. But I have certain doubts about it. I would like to know your valuable answers for my following questions about Lateral Internal Sphincterotomy: a. How many days will it take to heal after the surgery? b. Will it be painful to pass stools after the surgery? c. Will Sphincterotomy lead to permanent anal fissure scar instead of healing? d. What's the recovery percentage after the surgical treatment? e. Will the patient be discharged on the same day? f. Will they inject anesthesia straight into the anus or nearby as it will be more painful? g. Will it be more painful than the anal fissure after few days? h. Will they recur again when the patient passes hard stools ? Thank you in advance.
