Chronic anal fissure
I recently recovered from chronic anal fissure...it took almost 3 months to heal with sitz bath diltigesic gel,husk fiber and stool softener.i got this fissure after my vaginal delivery.its been almost 7-8 days that I am feeling no pain and no symptoms..but I am still using stool softener and husk fiber..how long should I take these..I am afraid of reoccurring fissure coz suffered a lot...

U should undergo surgery which is day care surgery and almost zero recovery time and get rid this problem permanently

Continue husk fibres to avoid constipation, drink plenty of fluids, take fibre rich diet, don't strain while passing stool. Husk fibres are without any side effects.
