Anal dilation sphincter
Doctor has told to do anal dilation sphincter surgery...what will be the side effects if this surgery is done..i have constipation issue and pain while passing stool and fissure...pls guide me.

Anal dilation not recommended. Go for lateral Sphinctetotomy.

Better and easier and the surgery of choice is lateral sphincterotomy and not dilatation. Consult your doctor regarding that

Nowadays anal dilation is not recommended for Fissure
Constipation to be managed by medicine and diet change, exercise, fluids etc
