Worried about Thyroid

I have been taking Thyroid medicine for the last 3 years of thyronorm 37.5.. 3 days before I did the test it was 1.02 . My physician has been told to stop taking Thyroid medicine and told me to repeat the same after 1 month...I am afraid it will create any side effects after I stop the medicine... should I worry about it ... please suggest

I m taking thyroid medicine since the age of 36 till 68+, yet not advisable to stop It will raised drastically.
