Medications will only provide temporary symptomatic relief and will not cure this problem and the symptoms are definitely bound to reappear again after sometime. A proper case evaluation and an x-ray will be required to access the clinical condition of the tooth and it is most likely that extraction will be the only recommended treatment option for permanent relief. Your current symptoms point to the fact that the infection is not confined to that area only and has involved the bone and the muscles leading to restricted mouth opening or trismus. Regards.
Next Steps
try to visit a dentist as soon as possible instead of looking for home remedies or temporary solutions.
