Weight loss for diabetes type 2

My mother was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes she is 55 yrs of age. She weighs around 87kgs. What diet changes can help loose weight. Also what things can she normally eat with worrying too much about sugar levels. PS. The doctor said rice wheat fruits are all off limits then what to eat.. ?

Hello sir, Provide me complete information of ur mother height, weight, physical activity, madical history, family history, diet history, veg or nonveg. I hv diabetic diet plan  so for better  maintain follow diabetic diet. Weight also should be reduced.for reducing weight follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and walk early morning and evening. Take high fiber food in ur diet. Add more fruits and vegetables in ur diet. Add plenty of water. Small and frequent feeding should be included in your diet. Avoid sugar, sweets, oily and fried food. Avoid sweet fruits like banana, Chikoo, mango, grapes, dates, sweet potato, rice, etc.

You need to take high fiber low fat diet followed by detox diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Ask me privately for customized diet plan for you. Do crunches and pushups daily to reduce belly fat.

Basic things to follow: 1 hr exercise compulsory Include fruits and vegetables Add fiber to your diet Add leafy vegetables, cinnamon, chia seeds, nuts, flaxseeds to your diet Eat slow releasing carbs avoid pasta breads rice refined flour soda packed meals.

Hello - see your dr said limit that means no need to stop eating that ...she can have in limited quantities and control portion size and frequency. - and it depends on her blood suagr levels - take balance diet and exercise like daily 30 min walk - we give custamised diet plan  but before giveing that i need to take your full histroy like eating habbits lifestyle. -She needs to modify lifestyle
