But if intensity us high you need to hve good quality of proteins which will help you to kick start your workouts.   Yes..whey is a good protein, but the quantity and quality of your protein intake should be carefully monitored  based on your activity levels and body weight as too much protein can cause damage to your kidneys. I don't see a need for whey protein supplements if you are taking good quantity of eggs fish chicken milk curd etc in your diet. Your protein requirements increase with muscle building activities and it should be calculated  based on your current food habits and the and the time you spent on strengthening and weight bearing/muscle building exercises.  Make sure to take plenty of water when you are on a high protein diet as it will ease the functioning of your kidneys.  You can reach out to me online for customized recommendations and diet tips.
