Vitamin D is low (23) – you can take Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once weekly for 6–8 weeks, then once monthly maintenance. Also get some sunlight exposure. Vitamin B12 (248) is borderline low – consider B12 supplements. Please consult me for proper evaluation and treatment.

Your values show: • Vitamin D: 23 ng/ml → insufficient (not severely low, but below optimal) • Vitamin B12: 248 pg/ml → borderline low So this is a case of **Vitamin D Insufficiency and borderline **Vitamin B12 Deficiency. Since you had taken monthly Vitamin D earlier and stopped 2 years ago, the levels have gradually fallen again—which is common.
Next Steps
Vitamin D: • Restart Cholecalciferol 60,000 IU once weekly for 6–8 weeks • Then continue once monthly maintenance Vitamin B12: • Start Methylcobalamin 1000–1500 mcg daily for 6–8 weeks • Then reassess levels Monitoring: • Repeat **Vitamin D Test and **Vitamin B12 Test after ~3 months
Health Tips
• Sun exposure: 15–20 minutes daily (morning sunlight) • Include B12-rich foods: eggs, dairy, fish, chicken • Vitamin D supplements should be taken after meals containing fats • If vegetarian, B12 supplementation may be needed long-term • Watch for symptoms: fatigue, tingling, muscle pain ⸻ These are mild and easily correctable deficiencies, but correcting them properly will improve overall energy and bone health. If you want, you can book an online consultation and share your full report so I can tailor the exact duration and maintenance plan for you.

This is not total deficiency of vitamin D, only insufficiency or mild depletion. You can take Vit D Rise 60K once a week for 6 weeks and then monthly maintenance. The management need not be too aggressive. But if still persistently low then other labs like calcium need to be checked

Your Vitamin D level (23 ng/ml) is in the insufficient range. Ideally, it should be above 30 ng/ml for optimal bone and metabolic health. Since you had taken high-dose Vitamin D earlier and stopped 2 years ago, your levels have again dropped, which is quite common.
Next Steps
- You can restart Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once weekly for 6–8 weeks, followed by once monthly maintenance dose - Ensure adequate calcium intake (diet or supplements if needed) - Regular sunlight exposure (15–20 min/day) is helpful
Health Tips
Repeat Vitamin D levels after 8–12 weeks to assess response
