Hey doc, I am vegetarian , what are some best sources of vitamin D? I can eat eggs too, how much should I eat in a week?

U can have variety of vit d supplements in ayurveda and also in food supplements. So I also need some more details from u ,call thru practo.

Non veg and milk do not contain vitamin D. Some packaged milk brands do contain added vitamin D. The best source is sunlight. Expose your skin to mild sunlight for 15-20 mins daily. All the best.

For vegetarians the best sources of D could be milk and products, egg yolks,and sunlight exposure combined with optimum healthy fat sources  in the Diet to aid in the better absorption of the same.

Gud morning,milk n milk products,animal food sources like eggs,fish especially small fish etc are the good sources of vit-d rich foods.Try to have a healthy balanced diet along with maintaining a healthy lifestyle.Try to expose your body to direct sunrays for getting instant vit-d at least for 10mins morning daily.
