Yes — your symptoms are very likely due to these deficiencies. • Vitamin D = 10.3 ng/mL → severe deficiency • Vitamin B12 = 162 pg/mL → deficient Both deficiencies commonly cause: • Light-headedness • Brain fog / foggy feeling • Low energy, fatigue • Feeling “low on sugar” even when sugar is normal • Poor concentration • Muscle aches, weakness, sleep issues This is not dangerous, but it will keep bothering you until corrected. This does not mean low blood sugar or a brain problem.
Next Steps
Start supplementation (important) 1. Vitamin D • Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once weekly for 8 weeks • Then maintenance dose (as advised later) 2. Vitamin B12 • Best option: B12 injections (fastest relief) • 1000 mcg IM once weekly for 4 weeks • OR if injections not possible: • Oral B12 1500–2000 mcg daily 3. Check these once (if not already done): • Fasting blood sugarHbA1c • Hemoglobin (to rule out anemia)
Health Tips
• Symptoms usually improve within 1–3 weeks after starting treatment • Take B12 in the morning • Take Vitamin D after food • Stay hydrated • Do not skip meals • Sun exposure 15–20 minutes daily helps Vitamin D • Avoid self-diagnosing anxiety or sugar issues — deficiencies alone can cause this feeling This is a very common and reversible problem. Once Vitamin D and B12 are corrected, the foggy/light-headed feeling usually settles. If you want, you can consult me online — I can: • Decide oral vs injection B12 for you • Give a complete recovery plan • Tell you when to recheck levels You’re not alone — this is fixable, and you will feel better soon.
