USG vs CT scan

Ultrasound or CT scan which one can detect exact size of kidney stone. Which one is more accurate? Can anyone please let me know.

CT is the gold standard. Usg is equally good too. But sometimes, stones can be missed in usg if there are lot of bowel artefacts.

Both are good imaging techniques. CT exposes you tot of X rays. Ultrasound does not expose you to X rays. As far as further management is concerned both are equally good. In short we may get better looking images in CT Scan but patient management is equally good in both.
