Ulcers in mouth
I have been diagnosed with chicken pox for the past 1 week. Though i do not have scars on my body or back i have started getting oral ulcers near the tongue and inner cheek. The ulcers make it difficult to consume food or talk for that reason. Ive tried zytee gels, lignocaine etc but they refuse to heal. The number of ulcers is steadily increasing. I have also been taking bcomplex tablets.. Any other mode of treatment i can try to reduce them.

The reason for your oral ulcers is specific so they will not Heal in the normal time in which other simple oral ulcers Heal which is approximately 7 to 10 days.
Lignocaine based gels are prescribed for temporary symptomatic relief but they do not have any role in healing. Similarly it is very important to understand that multivitamins are not the treatment for oral ulcers, contrary to common belief. You should still take multivitamins because they are good for general Physical health as well as integrity of oral tissues but they will not have any role whatsoever in the healing of the ulcers which have already formed whatever be the reason for those ulcers.
