Mostly as per experience, Typhoid infection may not necessarily cause such preterm labour. But cannot be ruled out. The most common reason could be an Incompetent Cervix. I would suggest please get cervical length check starting from the earliest scans and you may require a prophylactic encirclage in future pregnancy
