Hi as u asked firstly there is no authentic data that wil provide wat to do first but as it is said and sounds logical to me..the newer tooth pastes having remineralizing properties wil only act if they come in direct contact with enamel and if there is plaque left before brushing in the interdental areas there efficacy wil get reduced, so first floss so that the interdental areas are cleaned of plaque and then brushing so that these toothpastes have access to clean enamel in the interdenatal areas..hope this anwers wel ur query best of luck feel free to ask ne queries

Hi, flossing is required to clean gaps between teeth. If you have tight contacts between your teeth then no need of flossing may be that's why your periodontist advices against it. Take care.

Hii.. Periodontists disagree for flossing many times... But not always.. There are multiple reasons behind this depending upon the condition.. i.e. gums, bone, embressures (gap between teeth) and teeth.. So one need to consult the dentist first and then decide whether to floss or not..
